Wedding Information
Let me know when you'd like to get married, I'll check my calendar, and we'll go from there.
My $399 registry style wedding ceremonies are only available on Saturday.
The Notice of Intended Marriage must be lodged with me at least 1 calendar month before your ceremony, so keep that in mind when considering dates.
​I'll ask you 4 questions:
1. If you both speak English*
2. If you're both over 18 years of age
3. If you've been married before (divorce or death certificate must be produced)
4. If you're related (I know, it makes everyone laugh!)
* Both parties must understand and speak English. If either party doesn't speak English (requiring a translator) they must book my $750 traditional package due to the time required to organise translators, translate scripts, translate identity documents and complete additional paperwork.
Then we'll book in an initial meeting at my location in Victoria Point QLD (on a Saturday also).

During your first appointment we'll complete the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM). If you would like to read the document before your appointment, please see the link below. I'll need to see ID (original copies) for both you and your partner. A current Australian or international passport as well as a driver licence takes care of everything. It's also handy if you supply your birth certificate as I need your parents' full birth and current names and also their countries of birth. If you don't have those documents let me know and we'll go from there. If either of you have been married before, please also bring your divorce or death certificate. If your divorce was finalised after 2010 you can access a copy via the online portal here. If your divorce was finalised before 2010 you can apply for a copy here. Please note that the name recorded on your marriage certificate must be the same name recorded on your identity documents.
Once we've completed the paperwork you can get married in as little as 1 calendar month (you can also lodge your NOIM with me up to 18 months in advance if you haven't decided on a date). If you have any questions just let me know.
